Control Alt DeleteIf Ctrl-Alt-Del is not working on your remote PC, follow the steps below to enable it. A group policy must be enabled on the remote PC so ShowMyPC Viewer can send Ctrl-Alt-Del to machines running Windows 10 and above.
This only needs to be done once per remote computer.
Choose the procedure below based on whether the remote PC is in a Workgroup or joined to a Domain.
Enable in Workgroup (most common)Use this if the remote computer is in a workgroup, or on a domain with no domain group policy set.
Login to the remote computer as a local or domain administrator.
Click the Start button, select Run, type
gpedit.msc and press Enter.
In the left section, navigate to: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Windows Logon Options
In the right section, double-click Disable or enable software Secure Attention Sequence and set it to Enabled.
Set the policy option to Services or Services and Ease of Access applications.
Click OK and close the Group Policy Object Editor.
Ctrl-Alt-Del is now enabled on this remote computer.
Enable in Domain (change domain group policy)Use this if the remote computer is joined to a domain. Only a domain administrator can do this.
The domain group policy overrides the local group policy. If no domain policy is set, use the Workgroup procedure above.
Login to the domain controller as the domain administrator.
Click the Start button, select Run, type
gpmc.msc and press Enter.
Select the desired domain, right-click and choose Create a GPO in this domain, and link it here.
Right-click the new GPO and select Edit.
Navigate to: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Windows Logon Options
Double-click Disable or enable software Secure Attention Sequence, set to Enabled, and set the option to Services.
Click OK and close the Group Policy Object Editor.
Ctrl-Alt-Del is now enabled for all computers connected to the selected domain. Notes
Free version: Ctrl-Alt-Del is not supported on the free version of ShowMyPC.
