How to Switch User of Windows RDP Connection1) Using the ShowMyPC application, choose the RDP check box before you connect to a remote PC. ![]() 2) If you are able to connect via RDP, you should see a window like this. ![]() To change your user, keep the above window and note the address it is connected to e.g. 127.0.0.1:52098 3) While the above connection is active, search for “mstsc” in windows and enter to open RDP client. ![]() 4) Enter the connection info e.g “127.0.0.1:52098” and Show Options to change the user and connect (before you connect you can close the window in Step 2.) If the step 2 window or any other RDP session is active on the remote PC, you may see a prompt that someone is already connected and would like you to disconnect them. In that case, proceed to disconnect the other session. |
